By accessing, interacting with, or using this decentralized prediction market protocol (the "Protocol"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Nature of the Protocol
The Protocol is a fully decentralized, permissionless system composed of open-source smart contracts deployed on public blockchains.
- There is no central operator, administrator, or service provider.
- All actions (including creating predictions, trading, providing liquidity, voting, and settlement) are executed entirely on-chain.
- No party controls outcomes, markets, or user behavior.
You interact with the Protocol at your own discretion and risk.
2. No Custody, No Intermediation
- The Protocol does not custody user funds.
- Users retain full control of their assets through their own wallets.
- Transactions are irreversible once confirmed on-chain.
The Protocol does not act as a broker, agent, advisor, or fiduciary.
3. Prediction Markets Are Not Investment Products
Prediction markets hosted on the Protocol:
- Are not securities, derivatives, or investment contracts.
- Do not represent ownership, equity, or claims on any entity.
- Do not guarantee profits or outcomes.
Participation reflects a user's subjective judgment about future events, expressed through market mechanisms.
4. Risk Disclosure
By using the Protocol, you acknowledge and accept the following risks, including but not limited to:
- Market risk: Prices and probabilities may change rapidly.
- Liquidity risk: Markets may lack sufficient depth.
- Settlement risk: Outcomes depend on community governance, challenges, and arbitration mechanisms.
- Smart contract risk: Bugs, exploits, or unexpected behavior may occur.
- Oracle risk: Results are determined by decentralized processes, not guaranteed truth.
You may lose some or all of the assets you interact with.
5. No Outcome Guarantees
- The Protocol does not guarantee that any prediction result reflects objective truth.
- Outcomes are determined through market consensus, committee processes, and dispute resolution mechanisms, as defined by the protocol rules.
- Disagreements and contested outcomes are a designed feature, not a failure.
6. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Understanding how prediction markets, AMMs, liquidity provision, and settlement work.
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Managing your private keys and wallet security.
- Assessing whether participation is lawful where you reside.
The Protocol does not perform KYC, identity verification, or jurisdictional screening.
7. No Advice or Recommendations
Nothing within the Protocol, its interfaces, documentation, or community discussions constitutes:
- Financial advice
- Legal advice
- Investment recommendations
- Endorsements of any prediction, outcome, or market
All decisions are made solely by users.
8. Liquidity Provision Terms
Liquidity providers acknowledge that:
- Providing liquidity does not guarantee returns.
- Different liquidity modes may carry different risk profiles.
- Fees, rewards, or settlement participation are governed strictly by on-chain rules.
- Certain liquidity positions may be locked or restricted by protocol design.
Users are responsible for understanding the implications before providing liquidity.
9. No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Protocol, its contributors, developers, and community members shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from usage.
- This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Use of the Protocol is entirely at your own risk.
10. Open and Evolving Protocol
- The Protocol is open-source and may evolve over time through governance or community-driven upgrades.
- No guarantee is made that interfaces, features, or rules will remain unchanged.
Users are responsible for staying informed of protocol updates.
11. Acceptance
By interacting with the Protocol in any manner, you acknowledge that:
- You understand its decentralized nature.
- You accept all risks involved.
- You waive any expectation of centralized protection, intervention, or guarantees.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the Protocol.
